Seven Social Media Sins

With billions of users, social media is a fixture of most people’s lives. The influence of this technology is indisputable, but is it a force for good or ill? The short answer is that it can both promote or detract from well-being, depending on how it’s used. An unhealthy relationship with social media is often the result of certain behaviors, which we call the “seven social media sins.”

Our Seven Social Media Sins infographic depicts these problematic social media behaviors, such as engaging in conflict or comparing oneself to others. Memorable animal illustrations use humor and exaggeration to pique viewers’ attention and hold their interest.

Share this infographic with clients who could benefit from reflecting on their social media usage and its impact on their mood and self-esteem. The infographic’s eye-grabbing appeal makes it ideal for sharing on social media or printing and hanging on the fridge or next to a workspace.
