Why I'm Grateful

A recent study found that gratitude not only helps to improve how we feel, but it also appears create a healthier heart (A Grateful Heart is a Healthier Heart). In the same study, gratitude was also associated with improved sleep and less fatigue.

Positive psychology has long recognized the frequent practice of gratitude as a technique to help boost happiness and well-being. This gratitude worksheet is intended to kick off a quick and fun gratitude session using simple sentence completion that's appropriate for all ages. We suggest using this worksheet as a group icebreaker, or as a prompt for further discussion. Be sure to discuss the benefits of practicing daily gratitudes!
